The Orto Medical Care is an international trade fair for orthopedics, technical tools and professional services for older people and people with disabilities. It takes place every two years in Madrid and is the leading exhibition and at the same time the showcase of the industry in Spain. The care sector recorded in Spain massive growth. Private providers of health and care services gain market shares and since Spain is increasingly becoming the retirement home of retirees, the necessity to care for the sick and elderly people increases. Exhibitors show the latest products and innovations in the fields of orthopedics, geriatrics and rehabilitation and introduce innovative technologies and future trends. The fair is open to trade visitors only and offers tremendous opportunities to acquire international business partners and establish new important business contacts. The fair is accompanied by the Orto congress, which impresses with its scientific program at a high level and attracts retailers, manufacturers and experts from across the health service. Renowned national and international speakers provide trainings and lectures but also useful workshops on current topics and innovative products. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 2 days of the fair, from 20. November to 21. November 2014, about 9000 visitors on the Orto Medical Care in Madrid.
