The Monumento is a trade fair for preservation, restoration and conservation, which has become an international platform for the exchange of experts in the industry. It takes place every two years in Salzburg and is open to trade visitors only. The aim is to raise awareness of the issue of conservation. In particular, national as well as international exhibitors show current techniques for restoration and conservation, and provide extensive information. The focus is laid on the experience exchange, not only on improvements and innovations in this field, but also on well-tried and existing methods and techniques, materials and tools. Thus, the Monumento contributes significantly to the increase of the quality standards within the industry. The fair will be accompanied of numerous lectures by renowned experts in the industry on current issues and challenges facing restorers and plasterers daily.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 16. January to 18. January 2014, about 181 exhibitors from 8 countries and 2400 visitors from 10 countries on the Monumento in Salzburg.
The Monumento will take place on 3 days from Thursday, 11. January to Saturday, 13. January 2018 in Salzburg.
